History and heritage

Founded around 1973, Biela Stopa ('White Track') is Slovakia's oldest cross-country ski event. Set in the Kremnica Mountains of central Slovakia, the race has endured through the Czechoslovak era, the Velvet Divorce, and EU accession, maintaining its identity as an authentic Central European mountain marathon. Joining the Euroloppet series in 1994 brought international recognition to this storied event.
