Moraloppet was established in the 1990s to offer skiers the chance to race on the iconic Vasaloppet Arena from Oxberg to Mora without the mass-start intensity of the main Vasaloppet event. The race uses the final 42km of the legendary Vasaloppet route, finishing at the famous Mora Ski Stadium. It is part of both the Ski Classics Challengers circuit and the Svenska Langlopscupen 'The Originals.'
